Just a quick post today - we're in a rush to get out to my sister's but when we came to leave we noticed 'orrible brown stripes all down the back of the van. It's where rain has washed something off the overhanging silver birch. A quick wash should remove the worst. Hmmm, it's not sap or anything, there doesn't appear to be any deposit on the van; it's almost as if the dripping water has stain the van's GRP, a bit like henna. Normal washing doesn't seem to be touching it.

We went to Ellesmere via Mostyn yesterday where be bought a couple of pieces of material for improving van curtains - this trip has brough home the importance of reducing draughts. En route we stopped at a Caravan shop and bought some highly regarded Fenwick's Motorhome Cleaner. Applying it at normal or even high concentrations does absolutely nothing to reduce the stripey stains
